Joining the Dots supports schools to deliver meaningful careers education and encounters that connect learning with the real world.

We help students explore real careers and workplaces, build confidence, and understand what’s possible - by connecting schools with businesses in a way that’s structured, supported and safe.

Careers leads and teachers are often managing this alongside full teaching roles, with limited time and limited access to up-to-date knowledge of different industries and pathways. 

Many schools are struggling with:

  • Limited access to local employers and meaningful work experience.
  • The time and admin involved in organising real-world encounters.
  • Safeguarding and coordination across multiple activities.
  • The cost and logistics of transport, including buses and travel.
  • Engaging students who feel unsure or disconnected from future choices.

At the same time, many young people lack confidence and real exposure to the world of work - making it harder for them to see what’s possible so they can make better choices.
